Axid for reflux Anyone???

My dd is 3 months old and has been on Axid since 4 weeks 1 ml 2/day. Last week we started her on rice cereal in her bottle becuase she was still spitting up but not as bad or as often she was also .She had a Braium which showed she was reflux into her nose and are sending her for feeding therapy.  but now she  is vomitting which she hasn't done since she before we put her on the Axid. They are going to up her Axid to 3 x a day now. I guess I am just wondering if she should be on a differnt med something stronger I have seen other people with kids on prevacid and zantac. Thoughts anyone??? TIA

I don't know how much I can help... DS was put on Axid at his 4 month appointment for reflux.  It worked over night!  Then after a month it completely stopped working, we went in and they upped his dosage, and we are waiting to see if it works before we try something different.  So far it *might* be working a little better... I'm not sure.  They also had us give him oatmeal right before bed to see if that would help.

It gave my son horrible ummy aches, he would scream and get diahrea (not sure if I spelled that right)

I later discovered his dose was too high, after I switched pedi's. good luck
