Calling IVFers

So, I just got off the phone with a nurse and she said that people stim for AT LEAST 10 days and up to 14.  Is that normal?  I thought average was 10 with some a bit less and a bit more.  Im trying to time this out as much as possible since it is right around Easter.

I think it really depends on how well you respond to the meds. It could be less than 10 or more than 10.  I think it's kind of an average to go by.

My RE wants everyone to stim for 14 days...he will even lower your dose if you look to 'ready' by day 10.

I learned with my 1st cycle that you just have to sit back and realx and let your body do it's thing.  I stimmed for 14 days my 1st cycle and for 8 days my 2nd on the same protocol! Every cycle and every woman is different.....GL!

Everyone is different.  You're more than welcome to join our IVF check in on Tuesdays and Thursdays...there are likely lots of ladies doing IVF the same timeframe as you for support!  Good luck!
