The thunder just started.

Guess we will get rain today after all.  I'm sad I left my umbrella in the car, but happy the pollen will be washed off.

I wish we would get some damn rain in FL! A big brush fire started yesterday because some douche threw a cigarette out his car window.

I don't think we need it quite as badly here as back home, Liz.  I know my mom was thrilled with the rain yesterday and today, but I know our levels here are down.

I'm so ingrained with water-wastage stuff from living in aquifer zones, that when I'm home I listen to the aquifer report and to this day, I still leave the water off while I brush my teeth and wash my face.

We got major storms yesterday. My DH is in Austin and his mothers car was destroyed by a hail storm in the afternoon. 

How bad are the stroms supposed to get in SA?

They've had bad storms, my friend told me a few hours ago that it was coming down really hard in SA.

They are right on top of us now.   l was walking in the breezeway down to the kitchen and just about bit my tongue in half trying not to shriek with the thunder cracked suddenly and loudly - sounded like it was right next to me.
