Anyone's DD have Barbie Mariposa doll?!

This doll is the bane of my existence. My DH bought it for her about a year ago, and soon after we opened it, her enormous wings kept falling off, which sent DD into a meltdown because she didn't know how to put them back on. After a couple months of this, I hid the doll because I was tired of having to put her stupid wings back on every 5 minutes. But eventually DD discovered her and started playing with her again. I don't have the heart to throw the doll away because DD likes playing with her, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick of putting her wings back on.

Is your Mariposa doll like this, or did we get a defective one? Is it worth trying to buy a new one to see if her stupid wings actually stay on?!?!?!

Oh....the wings fall off all.the.time.

Since they don't "flap", I wonder if super glue would help...I might try that.

Maybe we'll try the Super Glue too....Wow, if they're all like mine, that is just wrong!! They shouldn't be able to get away with selling such a defective product. And I still see it for sale in the stores. Toys are made SO cheaply these days.

The wing's always fell off of dd's Barbie Mariposa. I was not sad when our dog got ahold of her and chewed off her legs. When dd and I went to the store to replace her they didn't have any Mariposas so we picked out another barbie.

Super glue those puppies on. AJ has that Barbie and LOVES it. The damn wings fell off every 3 minutes, so super glue it was.
