Infertility

*~*~lnle*~*~

Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you.  It sounds like you and I have had a very similar TTTC rollercoaster.  I have mild endo and multiple losses too.  My loss back in December was diagnosed as Trisommy 16, a "bad luck" situation according to my doctor.  I don't know how much more bad luck I can take.  Here is a whole truck load of u/s dust for you.  <<HUGS>>

Re: *~*~lnle*~*~

  • thank you so much! I'm so sorry for your losses. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing. Are you doing a treatment cycle right now?

How were they able to dx trisomy 16? with my first m/c they said the tissue had been "non-viable" for so long that they couldn't test it. I'm not sure what they'll say about testing this one. The doctor said my first loss was "bad luck" but now he wants to do RPL testing for antibodies, clotting disorders, etc.

((hugs)) back to you and I hope that luck turns around for both of us!

  • Hey there, thank you for thinking of me!!!  I just started my first medicated cycle since our m/c.  We are doing Follistim/Ovidrel Trigger with IUI.  I am on my fourth of day of stims, my second monitoring appointment is tomorrow morning.

I never had my first m/c diagnosed but luckily they were able to diagnose this one from my d&c.  Because they were able to explain this recent loss, they wouldn't allow me to do the RPL panel.  I was a little ticked off by his decision but what can I do.  Instead, my RE put me on a daily baby aspirin regime just incase of clotting problems/MTHFR but he doesn't think I have to worry about that.

I hope if you do the RPL testing you can get some more answers, my heart goes out to you that you have to go through this again.  I pray it all turns out well and there will be no more worries from here on out.  I will be thinking of you.

    Karen
