I have seen a lot of people on the boards who are doing IVF cycles use them.
I remember someone on here even writing a letter to the company, suggesting they could also market them specifically to IVF/IF patients - and how it would be nice to make them available in other places besides maternity stores.
I haven't gotten one yet but was thinking about it for my upcoming IVF cycle in May. I really wish I had one after my lap/hys surgery a couple months back too! I can't see why it could hurt. I plan on getting mine from Target as they were less than $20 there and you can order online.

I'm going to try to track one down this weekend. I wear dress pants every day and I think it will really help. Already even my "fat" pants are too snug, and that's just due to estrogen patches. I'm sure when I add the PIO after transfer I'm going to balloon even more. Thankfully it is getting a tad warmer and I just bought several spring-y skirts with elastic waist bands!!!
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
I was the one that wrote the letter to them, trust me it's worth it's weight in gold!!!!!!!
I have a pair of work pants that when I'm having a "skinny" day I can take off without undoing them, and I coulnd't even bring myself to button those ones up. Technically, I could have, but my stomach was just feeling so bruised and sore the pressure was killing me. I work for a professional services firm (very corporate and old fashioned) and there was no way I could have gotten away with stretchy pants.
I really hope they figure out that we are a market to them, it's so awful to go into a maternity store and have people all smiley at you and asking when you are due.
Good luck!

I'm investing in one for my first IVF, I was so bloated after my lap and I imagine this will be ten times as bad. I'm also going to get a lot of cute jackets for work, I find they hide the bloated belly pretty well.
I've been thinking of doing the exact same thing. To avoid the whole maternity store ordeal I was going to order them from Amazon. They even have a three pack in white, beige and black.
I didn't go the bella band route, but I did end up buying a couple of pairs of elastic waist cargo pants that Old Navy had out. They're pretty cute and definitely come in handy when I'm feeling like my ovaries are the size of softballs.
