Morning ladies. I just took my first Clomid last night and this morning I feel like absolute crap. I woke up with cramps so I hit snooze a few times. Then I stood up and felt like I was going to puke. That feeling has not gone away and I've been at work for 30 minutes now. On my way in this morning I started crying because I didn't like the song on the radio. Then my mom called and asked if I picked out the paint colors for her. I completely forgot about it and started crying. I think I caught her a little off guard. At first she was like, "honey, it's nothing to cry over." Then I explained what might be the real problem here.
Can someone please tell me this is going to get better?
Re: Need Support (On Clomid)
I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I've definitely been there. It WILL get better. I was like this for all 4 rounds of clomid. For me, it stopped about 5 days after my last pill. Well, the emotional part of it stopped - I continued to have bad cramps.
Hang in there!
Clomid was tough for me, I am not going to lie...but hopefully it will work for you and that will be it, then you will not care about the crappy s/e!
In the event your dr moves you to injectable meds, they do not have the emotional s/e of clomid, fyi....at least they never have for me. But I hope this works for you! GL!
It did get better for me, and I had very similar reactions, but they didn't go away until I'd finished the cycle.
Strangely it only happened like that the first time I took it. Subsequent cycles weren't as bad.
The first time I took it, my puppy was just learning how to walk on a leash and I completely lost it with her on several occasions. I think she could smell the difference in my hormones.
It will get better! I am on my 3rd round of clomid and I don't really have many s/e with it at all! I am only on 50mg though, how many are you on? I find that I cry easier on it, and that lasts till my cycle is over, and I get really bad O cramps but that is really about all.
Hopefully you won't have to be on it for too long! GL!
