What do you think? We originally had more of a 'minty' green that I thought didn't really match the sage, now I think this green is too lime-y. I don't want sage though, I think that would be too dark.

Personally I think the color is a littlre more bright and vibrant than the colors in the bedding. If you picked something along the same lines but a bit more muted maybe that would work. Bring the blanket in with you and ask for help, I'm sure someone will be able to figure it out for you I just LOVE that crib set!!
LOL...I like the first one better (personally). When my SIL was pregnant her husband painted the nursery 6 times!! Every time he would start painting and be about 1/2 done she would walk in and throw up, and it happened with every single color she picked until the last color and he closed the door and didn't let her in till the baby was bron
I like the new green you just painted - very pretty. I would keep it. Looks like the green squares in the quilt are only a few and no one will know the difference. Now, if you had curtains in the green squre color that might be a different story!
I think its fine! your thinking to much into it....believe me, I do this ALL the time and I am trying to contain myself. Once you get the crib in, and the blanket with it, not right up next to the wall, it will be just fine! the light is beautiful!
I liked both colors you have used but, if it really bothers you, try taking the quilt to a hardware/paint store that has a color matching program. I'm not sure if you have Home Depot in FL but I was able to have someone scan in my bedding fabric and the machine produced a custom color that matched perfectly.
I think you're right - it's too limey. Wrong color for the muted softness of the bedding. I think the sage on the blanket is a very nice color and not dark at all. I'd have that matched at the paint store.
I believe my friend has that nursery bedding--Glenna Jean? It is beautiful! She did pale pink walls with a beige accent wall to match the beige in the bedding. It is darling . . .
Re: Nursery almost done...PIP
This is the original green we did...
I think if I make Matt paint again, he's gonna shoot me!
