Progesterone Question

Good Morning!

Can Progesterone supps. make AF not come? I had gotten BFN for days but haven't gotten AF yet. I just wonder if I should stop taking the Progesterone. I will call my doctor's office later when they open but just wondering if anybody knew. TIA.

yes, you will not get your period while on progesterone

Your period will either not come or will be delayed while on progesterone. I still get mine when I'm on it, it just lengthens my LP.

If you have a BFN, you can stop the progesterone.

It never lengthened my luteal phase...I got AF right on time with the supps.  Its one of those meds that affects everyone differently.  It might come on it, it might not, it might be delayed, it might not.  I think the orders for mine were if you get BFN and no AF by 16dpo/iui, they stop them but you should follow your RE's office protocol.  I never made it to that far before AF came.

Thanks ladies! I am waiting to hear back from my RE office, but don't think that I am going to take them anymore.
