~*~* TryingToGetPregnant *~*~

Hey Jenny -

How are you feeling today?  Sorry your news threw you for a loop yesterday and I am so glad it is fixable.

I've got such a good feeling about your cycle :)

  • Thanks so much for checking in on me! :) I am doing a lot better today. I do feel relieved that we found something and that we can treat it. I have a lot of hope for this cycle. It just burns me up to know that this could have been easily figured out sooooooo long ago, y'know?

How are you feeling? I've been thinking about you a lot lately. You are just such a strong person, and I am sure your DH is too. There are a lot of girls out there pulling for you guys. I just know you will both be such excellent parents!!! :)

  • It does suck that it wasn't figured out sooner but NOW you are in the most capable hands :)

I'm ok.  Every morning is like hearing the news all over again but it gets better as the day progresses.  It just sucks.  David is really the greatest guy and it is so awful that he has to feel like less of a man (I hate that he feels this way, in my eyes he is more of a man than most, many wouldn't let sharp objects come at there balls 3 times in a year and a half).

We knew that this was a possibility and I'm glad we did all we could with the best doctor for MFI.  We'll have a family one day.

I can't wait to see your BFP post, it will get here before you know it.  I love this board and all the supportive women, it helps ease the pain a little bit.

How's Toby's nail, has it stopped bleeding?

  • Yep - I try to just think how blessed we are to be at such a great clinic rather than think about how we weren't before, y'know?

I am really glad you are doing a little better. I have never been quite where you have, but I definitely know what you mean - each morning feels like you're replaying the events. I felt just that way after we m/c'd. It is such an awful Groundhog Day feeling everyday. I will tell you that as time moves forward those feelings will start to fade little by little each day. Just know that you are will feel excitement and hope again - it just really does take awhile to get there.

And, your DH is truly amazing. I really hope he knows what a special person he is. It makes me utterly sad that he would feel like less of a man. It's makes me mad that guys have this macho-ness put on them with part of their body they have absolutely no control over! Trust me - 99% of men wouldn't and couldn't do what David has done. He is a model of what a true man is.

Thanks for all of your encouragement! I cannot wait for the day to post my BFP!! It will be such a full circle moment for us. And, I KNOW you will have that day too. :)

As for Toby, he is good as new. I used that liquid band-aid stuff and it hasn't bled since. I'm going to peel off the little band-aid (if it hasn't worn off) this weekend and reapply for another week just to be on the safe side. Thanks for asking about him!

    Have a great night!!
