Last Friday the RE told me I would need a Lap. The issue is that it needs to be done between cycle days 7-11. I'm currently in graduate school and am trying to schedule it between when the spring semester ends and the summer semester starts. Do you guys think it would be ok to ask the doctor to induce my period with provera or something like it to ensure that the surgery can be done on the correct day? I normally wouldn't worry about it if it were in the middle of the semester, but I'm concerned about finals and the first days of summer class being fairly?pivotal?days especially since I"m almost done. I'm fairly new to this whole RE thing and wanted to get some advice from people who may be more versed in dealing with things like this. Thanks so much!
Re: so I need some opinions re: Lap
I have never done a lap, so I am not sure. I would ask your RE to see what his/her thoughts are on it. If you usually have regular periods, then I'm not sure they would induce you. If you are irregular though, I don't see why they wouldn't.
I also saw in your other post that you are from KC. I am too! There are becoming more and more KC girls on this board. If you ever have questions on anything, feel free to page me. For good or bad, I've been around this board for way tooooooo long, so I've seen about every question out there.
