should I be concerned????

I've been on birth control pills for approx. 3 weeks now and just started lupron this Monday. I just went to the bathroom and noticed spotting!!!! Is this normal? My RE made it seem that I would be "tricking" my period so why the spotting? I mean I know that I am about to start a new box of BCP this Sat. (since I'm not supposed to use the brown pills) but I thought that the purpose of this was to avoid getting periods-which makes me wonder if this is actually the beginnings of AF or just spotting due to the meds. Can this effect my cycle? Sorry for the rant and thanks in advance.

Spotting is just fine. It is totally normal. Some women spot and some don't. It can be totally annoying, but it won't mess anything up. You may spot the entire time on bcp's and Lupron and you may only spot a couple days - either way is fine.

Thanks for your response! As you can see I was starting to freak out. Now I can sleep through the night:-) I truly appreciate everyone on here.
