Tell Me About Protocols?

Can anyone explain anything to me about different kinds of protocols?  I've heard a lot of girls say they are on the "antagonist" protocal, but what does this mean?  Are there different ones to choose from or does your Dr. recomend one based on your situation? TIA girls!

    Yes, your doctor will recomend one based on your situation. I don't know much about all the different ones since I've only done the long lupron protocol, which is the most common for ivf.

    Well, I certainly am not experienced enough & havent researched enough to tell you about all of the different protocols But...I can tell you that there are several out there & that your dr will recommend which one he thinks is best based on your personal situation.
