NT Scan and 12 week appt. update

Today I went in to have the NT scan done and everything is normal including the heart beat.  My lab results also came back and I am not a carrier for cystic fibrosis. Yay!

I do however have an RH negative factor so I will be getting a shot in a few weeks of rogram (i have no idea if that is how it is spelled) and after the baby is born.  We have no idea what DH's blood type is because he is very very needle phobic and refuses to be checked.  The mention of needles makes him freak out.

Our baby was very active during the ultra sound, doing flips, stretching out, and jumping all around.  We even got a shot of the toes.   Very cute!

Its amazing how different the baby is at 12 weeks compared to 8 weeks.  :)

  • Awww. Congratulations! It sounds like everything in the pregnancy is going great.  Doesn't sound like needing the shot it anything to worry about.  Great news.  Hope things continue to go really well for you and baby.

  • Yay for a beautiful baby and great results! Sorry about the Rhogam...men can be such wimps sometimes. I was kinda surprised when I found out my blodo type, I'm not sure why, though. Both of us are +  so that is something I won't have experience with. Not a bad shot, though, so I've heard.
The Knot won't share my Bump Siggy, so here's the low-down: 4/27/07 - Got engaged! 8/31/08 - Got married (to my best friend)! 12/30/08 - Got Pregnant! 9/3/09 - Welcome to the world, Elias Solomon! 8/16/10 - Got Pregnant, again! 5/14/11 - Welcome to the world, Talia Hadassah! 1/14/12 - Ready or not, here comes #3 (EDD 9/27/12)
  • Congrats on the good visit. I have to have the rhogram shot too. I hate shots, but it's worth it. I'll post when I have mine to let you know how it goes! It really is amazing how different they look at every ultrasound!
