FFS!!!!

DH and I are taking a week-long trip next month.  The inlaws have known for months they're keeping DS for part of that week but chose that week to do a major kitchen renovation (like, ripping out down to the studs).  Ok...whatever.

I just got off the phone with my mother.  She's supposed to have DS from the 16th-18th.  Apparently she has scheduled major knee surgery (general anesthesia, crutches for weeks) on the 15th.

FFS people!  The point of my vacation is that I can relax, not worry about my child and his caretakers' ability to supervise him!
