SA - unable to freeze anything? Help

Ok, so we have our first meeting with the fertility specialist tomorrow and DH went to get an SA at the RE lab. They told him today that they were unable to freeze anything. Does that mean that he is completely infertile? Any ideas? He's been through chemo so we knew this was a possibility but I'm just wondering...thanks :(

  • Loading the player...
  • hmmm, maybe the amount was to small to freeze.  Not really sure.

Dh also went through chemo so we have low count, volume etc but he is still sort of fertile, just not fertile enough for it to happen on our own.

Hope that gives you some hope!  I suggest getting  more information from the SA

  • The way that is stated is strange.  Maybe they mean that there was no sperm found in the SA?  I think you should be able to ask tomorrow at your appointment to clarify what that means.
