Special Request- OB/GYN help on Cleveland's west side

Hi there! I am in desperate need of a new OB/GYN on the west side. I recently went through a miscarriage and I need a second opinion because it's been several months and I'm still not able to TTC because my periods aren't regular. I'm so frustrated and at my wits end to find a trustworthy, responsive OB/GYN. I've already called 4 and they are either taking patients in June (I really don't want to wait that long) or are not taking new patients at the moment. I'm afraid to blindly find one on our insurance website, so I'm looking to you for suggestions. Here is my criteria if this helps:

- preferably a female
- delivers at Fairview Hospital
- one that specializes in fertility issues would be a plus, but not requirement

I see Dr. Patterson. She is very nice and delivers at fairview. Her office is also in Fairview with another female OB/GYN who seems nice as well. I'm not sure that she has a specialty in your need but other than that she is great. My friend is due any day now and has had her the whole time and loves her.

Dr. Ekman in Lakewood was great. She delivered my DD and I was having irregular periods when I started seeing her. I ended up not needing any help, but she had some suggestions and was great during my pregnancy.

She delivers at Fairview, but prefers Lakewood where her office is.

My neighbors who have all delivered at Fairview go to Dr. Elizabeth Stark...I hear she is wonderful and everyone loves her, I am not sure if she does fertility though. If you are looking for fertility specialists UH/MacDonald's Women Hospital has a huge fertility center and Dr.'s. Good luck.

Hi. My aunt is a nurse at Maymount in the labor and delivery ward. She works with a bunch of different docs. She recommended me to a group of doctors, three of them are female. Their names are Dr. Galun, Dr. Hruby, Dr. Girzher, and Dr. Katz. I am not sure if they go to Fairview also. She loves these docs. She told me if she were to be pregnany again, these are the docs she would go to.

I really like my OB/GYN, Dr Starck at Avon Women's Health Association. She delivers at Fairview. I have had several miscarriages myself and she is very compassionate and supportive. She would certainly try to get to the bottom of your irregular cycles. If it turns out you do need a fertility specialist she would refer you to one.

There are also several other female doctors in that practice.

Dr. Ekman is fantastic! She helped me through a horribly complicated pregnancy. Dr. Gitiforooz of her office actually delivered me at Fairview. I recommend both of these female OB/GYNs very highly!

I recently switched to Avon womens health. I go to Dr. Grosel. There are i think 5or 6 OBs in this practice.

I also go to Avon Women's Health. I really like Dr. Zanotti-she delivered DS by c/s and helped through a MC. She delivers at Fairview & St. John Westshore.

I also go to Avon Women's Health. I see Dr. Starck and Dr. Amy Stephens. Both are wonderful. Dr. Stephens delivered my daughter back in October.

Hello, I don't know if she delivers at Fairview, but St. John West Shore she does. Her name is Karen Milhak, she is out of EMH Medical center, she was very good, I no longer have her because I relocated to Brunswick and I need someone closer to me.
