Donor update! I am SOOO good :)

I don't know if you guys are going to be proud of me or annoyed Stick out tongue

First off, I'm surprised I got a call today - I figured it would be tomorrow.  Anyway, the donor will have her 5th dose of stims tonight, so her u/s today was after 4 stim days.  Everything "looks good" and is "right where they want it to be for this time."  I asked whether it looks like she is responding like she did before, and the coordinator said yes :)  Her past two cycles yielded 28 eggs and 21 eggs each, so I feel pretty good!

I didn't press for any details but maybe I'll find out more on Friday.  It's so early now that any details will probably just make me nervous! She did say that it looks like she will probably have retrieval somewhere in the middle of the range of dates they gave me (3/30-4/3), so I am still betting that 4/1 will be the day.

Anyway, aren't you proud of me??  How many of you have seen my crazy graphs of my previous cycles?  And you know - I feel OK just knowing that it all "looks good."

  • You know, when things calm down for me, this is something I really want to explore.  Through all of my previous cycles I was information-obsessed.  But, for this one, I've felt really detached and, whatever they told me was fine.  I've been so un-obsessive that it's almost freaked me out.  I'm going to blog about this when I get a chance, but, it might be nice to talk to others going through DE to see if they had a similar reaction.
  • I'm so proud of you and so happy that everything is going so well.

    Can't wait for more updates.
