Progress!

So I am patiently waiting for DH to either decide on the agencies we've already researched, or do some of his own legwork to explore other options so we can get started with adopting. He took a mental health day today, and I reminded him that I had sent him links to some other agencies, and maybe he could look at them while he was home. I fully expected this to fall at the bottom of the priority list.

I was pleasantly surprised to get an e-mail from him that he wants to call 2 agencies in particular, preferably by Friday. And verbalizing some of his pros and cons for who we may go with.

It's so nice to have progress, even if it's just baby steps. I just really want him to be comfortable with what we're doing and how we're doing it.

That's great! I am also not so patiently waiting on DH to respond to an email with adoption info. Congrats on your progress!

YEAH Mr.Loretta!  I'm glad he is taking the steps he needs to catch up to you and be comfortable with the choice you guys make!  I hope one of those agencies works well for you both!
