How is Zoey doing Denesdia?

I've been away from the board for a while, any updates on how she's doing? Is she recovering well from her surgery?

Thanks for asking!  Yes, please check out the carepages site that I set up.  I put the link in my signature.    In short, Zoey is doing wonderful since her second surgery where she had some of her large intestines removed.  She is completely on room air, no I.V.'s, no monitoring of Oxygen, and only a monitor on her heart and breathing.  She is wearing homemade dresses and preemie onesies (they are still a little big).  Our new challenge is gaining weight, as she is stuck at 2 lb. 14 oz.  She is getting fortified breast milk and vitamins via tube feed, and we have started to practice breast feeding for stimulation.  This is a whole new chapter for us.  It's very exciting.  So glad to share the progress.  I am getting ready to post nursery pics.

Good to hear things are going well with Zoey. I will check out your carepages to get updates, what a great idea! I hope you are doing well too, I know that NICU life can be difficult, espcially when dealing with surgeries and such. I wish you and your family the best.
