Prayers needed please..

So last night while we were in the emergency room with carter we just found out that my FIL was in there with a heart problem (different hospital). Long story short he is going in for heart surgery tomorrow for major blockage of his main artery. My husband is a mess as he and his dad are really best friends. Ugh what an awful day! Thanks ladies.

I'm so sorry Jody! My dad has had three open heart surgeries so I know the fear. He's in good hands though and everything is going to be fine! Its so great they caught this. Keeping he and your family in my prayers. Keep us updated! PS. Glad CMan is feeling better

So sorry to hear this. Not knowing the details, bypass surgery is pretty common and i belive has a very successful record and surprisingly quick recovery. Tahnk gooodness they caught it. Prayers yoru way!

Thanks everyone! I know it is pretty common and i keep telling my husband that but its his dad and he will worry regardless and of course his mom is super worried so that doenst help. It just really sucks

Hey Jody,

I'm sorry to hear about your FIL. Is he at a hospital in the Atlanta area? This is my area of specialty if you have any questions. Most people do very well after a bypass surgery with all the new technology and medicines. Keep us updated and I will be thinking about him.

So sorry to hear about Carter and your FIL! You have had a rough week, you poor thing. I'll say a prayer for both. My dad had 5 bypasses and it is a very scary thing to go through, but it is amazing what they can do these days - I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Oh, goodness. You guys are going through some rough times. I know that worry and helplessness that Tommy is feeling. It IS amazing the advances that have been made though. You are all in my thoughts. Take care of each other.
