What days are you monitored on- IUI?

I tried to google this, but didn't have much luck.

I went in for BW and u/s on Day 3, I'm going again on Day 6 for u/s, but I don't know how many more times I'll be going and around what day they'll have me trigger.  I'm on Bravelle and Ovidrel trigger.

Anyone willing to share their experiences?

Re: What days are you monitored on- IUI?

  • I really don't think there is any set plan of monitoring, except for in the first few days. Each IUI and IVF cycle monitoring days were different for me based on my e2 levels and how big my follies were. The closer I got, the more I went until I was ready
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • Ditto pp. For my last IUI I went in 5 times over an 8 day period but it really depends on your response.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks!!

  • I was CLOSELY monitored. I had b/w us on day 3, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19 (triggered on 19) and had B2B IUIs on day 20 and 21. I was a really SLOW responder to my meds (did Menopur and Ovidrel)....the monitoring was a drag...but it was my first IUI/injectables cycle so they didn't know how I would respond. It ended up being BFN and I took this cycle off, but I'm sure they would adjust my meds for the next cycle so I don't need to stim for 16 days! Good luck.
