DS trying to feed DD... almonds.

Last night I was sitting on the floor with the baby before dinner, and ds was playing next to us and eating some almonds. I was talking to my mom, so not paying 100% attention to him.

I heard a "gah", looked down, and dd had an almond stuck to her lip. She looked SO puzzled.

We had a little chat about how it's wonderful that he wants to share, but the baby only drinks milk, because she doesn't have teeth.

She's not due to start solids for another few months, and I wasn't planning to start with almonds. LOL

ETA: I was more concerned about the choking hazard end of things than nut allergies.

Re: DS trying to feed DD... almonds.

  • DD was doing some of that to B - we finally got it through to her so much that when he did actually start solids, she'd yell at us "bwyan onwy dwinks MILK mommy!".  Eh well.  The explanations are ever-evolving LOL
  • LOL!  He's so helpful!
  • Loading the player...
  • DD did that to her little sister too!- with grapes!  OMG, I almost had a heart attack!

  • Ethan shared his lolipop with J when J was 3 months old. I went to the kitchen for a second, came back and J's face is covered in pink sticky stuff....  Ethan shared :)

I told him he was very kind to share, but the baby only drinks milk.

yeah, chocking hazard is my only issue also.
