BJ's cakes?

Anyone order a cake from BJ's Wholesale club? Their prices on sheet cakes are like, 1/2 the price of Publix, but I'm nervous it won't taste good! Anyone??

I've never tried BJ's but the cake I ordered from Target for New Year's Eve was awesome!!! Everyone commented on how good the cake was...it was vanilla marble with buttercream icing. I will be ordering the sheet cake from there for Mikey's b-day party!!

I think it's a matter of personal preference.  I don't like them, but my aunt loves them.  However I really like Publix cakes and I know a lot of people don't!! See if they will give you a sample.

Ditto.  If you are a Costco member, I highly recommend them!  They are like $16 for a HUGE cake... even if we are only 8 people for a bday celebration, we'll purchase from Costco b/c of the price.  Oh, and they are delish.  Try the one w/ the cheesecake filling.

we don't have a Costco up here!

 Yes, BJ's will personalize them and they even have a Mickey Mouse one that will go with our theme!

I wonder if you can ask for a sample before ordering... it is worth a try!

Not sure if previous question was directed towards Costco or BJ's, but Costco also personalizes cakes.  They have a few ready on-hand, but they also have a selection of designs to choose from (not very extensive though).
