XP: Do Peas = Constipation???

She is constipated for the first time in her little life and that is the only thing I think that is different?

I dont know for sure, but when DS ate peas he wasn't constipated but he was certainly gassier than before.

I've actually heard they help keep them regular, but all babies are different. DS gets really constipated with bananas. I've heard apples can also constipate them, and sometimes juice and carrots.?

Try prunes or pears (or diluted pear or prune juice); that's what worked for DS after the bananas.?

Not for DD. She eats them almost everyday....she LOVES peas!

i meant sometimes squash and carrots, not juice

I think the rule of thumb is anything that starts with a "P" is not constipating (pears, prunes, peas, peaches).  My DD loves peas and they definitely don't constipate her.

Peas are actually one of the few foods that don't constipate DS. Too bad he hates them!
