Tylenol Cold was ok'd by my doctor for my cold last week.  You might also try a nettie pot to flush your sinus'.  It sounds weird, but actually feels really good.  You can find them at CVS or Walgreens.  Feel better.

  • My RE's office suggests Tylenol Cold or Sudafed.  Definitely check with your doctor, but these should be OK for you, too.  And the netti pot I heard really helped a lot of people on here.
  • I totally feel for you .....I was just there for the past 2 weeks !! Finnaly got an antibiotic for my terrible cough a couple days ago. My Dr. wouldnt let me take anything but nasal spray even tho I begged LOL. I wish I had better advice than water, tylenol and sleep. Theres a great website that I've been using called Safe Fetus , if u google it its easy to find. According to there sudafed and most cold meds are a no no for first trimester.

    Best of luck !!

  • i'm in the same boat i'm soo sick. which is normal because your body become immunosuppressed during pregnancy. The ob i work for says cough drops some steam and tea but no meds during the first trimester. so i wont touch ANYTHING
