I have some great news to share...as of last Friday we have a Nanny indeed! I used the suggested www.care.com and the last piece I'm waiting on is the results from the background check, so technically she's hired contingent on that outcome
Her credentials & references are great and her location/personal situation made me feel good as well. It couldn't have worked out better.
I'm able to work from home anyhow so I'll be able to personally monitor (at least initially) just to check up on things and make sure that the transition goes smoothly.
That's great that you get to work from home to check in on things! i'm not sure how I would have handled it leaving Avery at a day care without being able to go visit her during the day.
