I saw this title, and seriously sat here and thought, "If this girl is gonna ask where to get one, I'm gonna seriously tell her to wake the "f" up."
Sorry, thongs during pregnancy just don't make sense to me. I'm already uncomfortable in the front, let's just make my backside feel oh so charming with a little string that will get lost inside it's growing mass.
Hahahaha glad I could get ya'll going a bit... but no seriously, I was looking at Motherhood Maternity online... they have them on there... My first thought was WTF! I did through my undies drawer to find anything and everything that WON'T ride up my ass, let alone those damn things!! Holy hell!

Ugh. I don't know what the point is. I did see them at the store the other day, however I self banned myself from my collection of eyepatch sized undies. The skin down there is just way too sensitive to even think about the potential chafing. I'll stick to tangas and granny panties till well after baby is born, thankyouverymuch.
(Although, I don't understand the need for maternity panties as it is. I suppose its for people who don't wear low-rise already?)
LOL- they aren't, but they're still all I wear. Why? Because granny panties have waaay too much fabric and the one time I wore them they bunched up under my pants and drove me frickin' crazy! At least thongs stay where they're supposed to be: firmly between my cheeks!
Ditto! Tanga is the brazilian name for that style, it was originally a bikini type. I think it sounds way sassier then "cheekie".... Cheekie makes it sounds almost too cutesy.
I don't do thongs but I do g-strangs. I even feel like thongs, with just that extra hint of fabric, feel like granny panties. I could never wear granny panties again without feeling like they're diapers.
I wore them with my first and they were the most comfortable underwear I ever had but after #2 and a few ugly side effects of pregnancy they just make my butt hurt so I am bad to Granny style or bikini.
Okay this may be TMI, but I only wear thongs when not pg and switched to maternity ones a couple wks ago. They have more stretch in the pelvic part so you don't feel like they are squeezing you to death. I HATE anything laying across my belly so these work great for me, Old Navy has them.
I bought some maternity thongs from Motherhood Maternity and I LOVE them! They really do allow for more stretch and the bands are wider than the typical thong.
I know eventually I will have to get granny panties later on but for now these thongs are more comfortable than the wedgies I would get from granny panties.
Re: Maternity Thong?
is there such a thing?
I was told I was banned from wearing my thongs or otherwise "cute" panties. I'm stuck wearing granny panties. ugh.

I'd be afraid to lose them between my cheeks!

But I agree, maternity thong is a bit much.
