Waiting impatiently for early screen bloodwork results

We had our early screen / NT scan last Monday.  Thankfully, the ultrasound looked good and I was happy that the nuchal fold measurement was within normal range.  The genetics counselor called on Friday and left a message for me, but I didn't get it until I got home Friday and it was too late to call back.

 

I called her this morning around 10:30 AM and still haven't heard back from her!  I am getting very impatient.  I hope she calls today still.......I had to wait all weekend and these extra few hours are killing me.  Don't these people realize I need to know RIGHT NOW?!   (just kidding of course, ok well only half kidding)

... I would have been in her OFFICE waiting to talk to her... you're doing far better than I would! LOL!

Hang in there.   If it were serious, I'm sure she'd have called back in a hurry.   They usually aren't in a hurry if it's not dire.

Argh!!  What insanity!!  I'm looking forward to your fantastic results....I'm trying not to think of mine and just hoping that no news is good news and they'll let me know at my next visit??!!??!!??!!

Can you believe this, it's now over 24 hours later and I still haven't talked to her.  She called me yesterday afternoon at the ONE time I stepped away from my desk.  I called her back and asked her to let me know a good time to reach her.  No response.  I called back today and told her to call me ASAP, and leave the results on my voice mail if she doesn't get an answer.  I'm so frustrated!  I am really hoping that no news is good news......but it's tough!

I'd be losing my mind by now.  I hate to wait for ANYTHING!  My tests are scheduled for Tuesday morning and I will assuredly be a basket case until I get those results.  Surely the old adage "no news is good news" would apply here.  Good luck to you & hopefully the wait won't be much longer. *tapping foot impatiently for you*
