Single mom info
Hi all - so as of last night it is looking like I am going to be making a go of this by myself. My boyfriend of 4 years and I are done, now I'm not sure what to do exactly. I know that there are programs that help single moms with getting a place of their own and help with food and all that - but I'm not sure where to start.... Can any one help me locate this info? I would really appreciate it!

I can't be of much help... but I would look at https://www.urbanmamas.com/, which is a Portland-based mother's group/website/board thing. I've seen posts specific to single moms before. I have found the website helpful with questions that I've had about other topics.
I'd also try your county. I know counties have daycare information centers, and so they probably have some other resources as well. (Maybe the daycare resource can point you in the right direction?)
Or, perhaps start with the WIC program and see what you are eligable for. Even if you're not eligable for the program, I bet they can help steer you in the right direction. https://www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/wic/
