5. Will you wait to share your baby's name? If so, why? Probably not. I did here last time, but my Mom came on here to see what it was! We actually mad e game day descision so really WE didn't even know her name until she was born.
We still can't agree, so I'm sure it will be the same LONG process it was before. We honestly didn't ahve a 100% name picked out before D day.
6. If you could splurge on one thing to prepare either yourself or your house for baby's arrival (i.e. massage, vacation, house cleaner, etc.) what would it be? We'd love to pay off all CC debt before the baby arrives, but I'd have to say 2 things.... vacation and a house cleaner. (For about 3 months after baby is here too!)
7. What should I eat the morning of my glucose screening test? My Dr. siad to eat a normal/typical breakfast. (that if you fast you could alter the results in a negative way)
8. When did you have the name picked out? The day she was born! We had narrowed down to 3 choices though.
9. Did you take pregnancy pictures? If so, who did yours? Where they worth it, and any recommendations? No, wish I would have. I probalby will this time with DH's brother who is a photographer.

Initially we thought we'd start to try when they'd be 20 months apart, (so May to TTC) but we waited until August to start trying. They will be 25 months apart. We are getting old, and we knew even before TTC #1, that we wanted them about 2 years apart.

About two years. Long enough that the first can understand what is going on to a certain extent, also long enough that the first one starts wanting another kid around. For me, personally, I wanted to wait until I saw DH taking more responsibility without my nagging.

I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow! Nothing too new, just the usual rib/upper ab pain and my stomach is starting to feel really heavy.

I just got off 10 weeks of pelvic rest, so I'm not sure I am of much help as we are just getting back into the swing of things

We have only shared it with a handful of close friends and family (and I share it on here, but I don't really know anyone IRL on here), but are waiting til she is born to make a big announcement on our blog and to tell the rest of our friends and family. At first, it was because we changed our mind about the name (we had announced the first name we were considering), and we wanted to make sure this one would stick before making a new announcement - but we like having the secret and some of our friends and family have mentioned they like that it is a surprise.
6. If you could splurge on one thing to prepare either yourself or your house for baby's arrival (i.e. massage, vacation, house cleaner, etc.) what would it be?
A new couch, a really big comfortable one with a chaise lounge on one end. We just have a futon as our "seating" in the living room and it isn't exactly comfortable for lounging on. I'm currently scoping out Craigslist on a daily basis, it would be nice to get a new couch before she gets here
7. What should I eat the morning of my glucose screening test?
My doctor recommended protein, like eggs and bacon - I had a thing of stouffer's mac and cheese before mine though

We had a name for each sex picked out from the beginning and stuck with them until our big u/s, and thenwe started having 2nd thoughts after calling her by that name. About 10 days after, we saw a name we liked better and changed our minds and the new name has stuck ever since

Nope, not professional ones at least - just my weekly bump pictures. I'm not sure we'll do pro ones either, I'm not liking how my face looks these days (I swear half the weight I've gained has ended up in my cheeks...boo)

Week 28-29. The weirdest new symptom is that my knuckles hurt every morning? what the heck am I doing in my sleep?

Wednesday ? Appt with my OB to discuss last u/s results, do the 1 hour gestational diabetes test, and get the Rhogam shot since I have a negative blood type.
Friday ? Appt with the perinatologist for a follow up u/s to check if baby B?s growth is falling more behind, staying the same or hopefully, catching up.

The action has definitely slowed way down, but we keep the ?romance? alive just by cuddling, kissing, feeling the babies kick together, and spending time with each other. It?s not very hot and sexy, but it has still been a special time.

We will if we can ever pick names! We?ve been stuck with a list of about 15 names for the past 2 months.

We?ve taken a picture every single Thursday. It?s fun to look back on. We probably won?t do professional pictures, but I?d like to do some nicer ones of me and DH together sometime soon.

37 weeks 2 days. New aches and pains, I have been having a lot of pre-labor contractions that are increasing (slowly) in intensity.

I have a baby shower on Saturday. I am the opposite of most expectant mommies in that we don't have enough clothes for him. I am hoping that we get some more.

My next appointment is March 31st. We will be having our first cervical check then, to see if I have dilated and to see what station baby is in. He is head down and engaged in the pelvis, but we don't know how far.

I would love a facial. My hormones are starting to drop off a little and I am breaking out again.

I was told to eat something high in protein, like eggs and toast. Something light and not filled with sugar. If you eat sugary cereal, or waffles, this can mess up your screen.

I did PG photos with Kate McElwee. They were so worth it. They made me feel so confident and I am so glad that I had a professional take photos of me at a time when I had no stretch marks and for an experience I will never have again. With my next child, I don't know if I will be able to do bare belly shots. (stretch marks). I would definately recommend Kate.

They are really unique names, so part of the reason is that we want to keep them unique. The other part as to why is that the name is up to us, and as long as we love it, then no other opinions should influence our decision

I think I'm going to print out all my ideas, set up all my equipment, and have a friend come and take the pictures so I can edit them myself. I've done quite a few maternity photo sessions and I love the way they turn out!

I don't want to hear everyone's opinions.? Once she arrives, they'll be less likely to criticize because the name is attached to an adorable little person.? Our current plan is to have 3 or 4 years between the first and second kids.? (And to only have two kids.....)? Based on absolutely nothing, since I have no experience, I think that having a new baby would be WAY easier with a 3 or 4 year old that can better understand what is going on and could possibly be eager to help rather than just get jealous that mommy and daddy's time is being spent elsewhere.?

Hmmm....before Addison we took two really nice vacations and I'm SO glad we did. This time I'm more likely to splurge on a massage and a house cleaner.

I have mine today...I just had toast and a cup of tea for breakfast. That's what I always have and I wasn't too worried about it being different today.

We're on our 3rd name...every one I picked out before just didn't seem right. I think we'll stick with this one but I guess I have another 11 weeks until I know for sure.

I did with my first pregnancy - haven't decided about this time. My first ones were done by Lindsey Anderson Photography but she moved to CA recently. They were definitely worth it - it's fun to look back at them and I think Addison will really appreciate them one day.

2. What are you looking forward to this next week? I have a super busy week at work and I will be in my car a lot...which makes my ankles swell, so I am looking forward to my haircut and color this weekend!

Two things I didn't want to do in the first few months were cooking and cleaning.

7. What should I eat the morning of my glucose screening test? Nothing-I ate an apple and ended up throwing up. The next time, I ate nothing and was fine but ended up failing. The 3 hour I fasted before and didn't throw up and passed all 4 blood draws.
