Crib mobiles

I want something that is pretty modern, and doesn't just match my bed set. I saw someone that had one made with wire and crystals and whatnot, but I don't remember who. I have looked on etsy, does anybody have any other suggestions? I thought about trying to make one myself, but my attempts usually end up half assed....TIA!

Maybe you could consider hanging stuff from the ceiling in lieu of an actual mobile.  Often times mobiles can damage the bed.

I am making a bird mobile to hang from the ceiling...it's really not that hard (so far).

I saw one made on Myles of Style on HGTV.  I bought a 12" embroidery hoop and 6 or 7 different cooardinatting ribbons that I will glue to the hoop.  I'm also thinking about using the birds from spoolsweing.com too.  I already have the pattern at home.  I though about hanging the birds somehow so they hang down from the middle of the hoop.
