Sorry I just logged back in and saw your question. I wanted to wait until 6 months because I have a family history of allergies and asthma. The pedi didn't encourage or discourage it, she just said I could start now if I wanted. But the past few days DD seems dissatisfied every after BF, and she makes sucky face every time she sees me eating. So, I am thinking that means she's ready for something more.
