My BIG u/s was Friday and...

I'm beyond exhausted from my weekend road trip and am about to fall asleep, but I wanted to let you all know asap...

IT'S A BOY!!!!

The experience was amazing!  The tech somehow got his heart on the u/s screen first and I teared up seeing all 4 chambers beating nicely?heart rate was 136, I believe?then she moved to another spot and I looked and said "It's a boy, right?" (because it was QUITE obvious) and she confirmed it.

My intuition?and Chinese Gender Predictor?were right. He's measuring 3 days ahead and was 13 oz and 8 inches long. I'm a bit nervous about having a boy (even though I expected it) but know I'm going to love him to pieces. We're not telling people we know IRL his name, but I'll share with my fellow AMA-ers.

Aaron Charles ? after my paternal grandfather (also Aaron) and my husband's maternal grandfather (Charles was his middle name, too).

I'll post ultrasound photos later... too tired now. *YAWN*

wooooOOOOOO Robyn!   Congrats Momma!   And what a *beautiful* name.   Charles was on our short list for a boy also, and we love it.    My paternal grandfather.

It's not easy to take a picture of your u/s with a digital camera. I'm hoping to scan all the pics soon so they won't be blurry (this one wasn't bad once I shrunk it down).

Robyn-Congratulations! I just had to show my husband the picture of your ultrasound because i swear it looks so much like mine, the little facial features. I wonder if ours can be a boy too! But I don't want to know. Love the name.

I found out Wed. that I am also having a boy, which came as a real shock to me because I was convinced it was a girl! I'm a little nervous now, having had only a sister growing up. Good thing this mommy likes sports, I guess!

I just found I'm having a boy too.  I still need to update ticker & signature, I'll get around to it eventually.  Great name.  I have all sisters so this boy thing will be new, my stepmom pointed out that a baby boy will be quite a new experience for my dad.  Most of my friends have boys and I a pretty big sports fan, and not very girly so a boy is totally OK with me.  Though I think I'll want to try for at least one more (was planning on it anyway) cause I would like a daughter too.
