Does anyone else have a clingy child?

I'm glad she loves me but I can't go anywhere w/out, "mama! Where are you?". I leave her with my mom or let her go with my sister and she calls me wanting to know when I'll be back or wanting to come home (after like 20 minutes). She's always on my heels and I'm afraid if I stop suddenly she's going to walk up my ass one day b/c she's so close. I can't even begin to imagine how she's going to be when I start working again. The poor kid's going to stroke out.

  • when she gets clingy its bad but thank god its not like that all the time.  My mastiff however is a different story...now that dog would be the one to walk up my ass 1 day lol

  • Yes but only when I'm around. She's fine, actually better, when I'm not.

  • My DS is totally like that, even when he is with DH.  Just the other day DH took him to one of his fav places to run around, and he called me and said that after 20 minutes, DS kept going to get his coat and said he wanted to go home and see Mommy.

I'm not sure what he's going to do when DS2 is born... he just may stroke out as well!  I'm praying that in the next few months he becomes a bit more independant.  I guess he's not going to have much of a choice when I"m in the hospital (and I already feel horrbile about this!)

  • My dd is like this and is the same age as your dd.  They also have the same personality or so it seems in other ways (from previous posts).  It is the 05 babies, lol.
