no it was fine. it didn't hurt at all. they only did an internal at mine, my annual is in a couple weeks. my ob just does them seperately.
they just talked to me about how BF'ing was going, BC options, we set up my appt for mirena to be put in, and also talked about how i was feeling in general. and any questions i had. that's about it.
I didn't have a pap (have to go this week) - my midwives don't do them at 6 weeks because you can get an abnormal result due to normal post-pregnancy changes. I just had my cervix checked and they asked some questions about my mental/emotional well-being. Pretty quick and painless.
nah. no biggie. i think it was a little uncomfortable just b/c the THOUGHT that something is going up there when all you want to do is be left alone for a bit longer. that was how it was for me anyway. now the 1st time for sex was a lot different - not quite as pleasant, but got better.
They did a pap and it didn't hurt at all, but I had a c-section. The nurse said they do what they normally would at the yearly check up, except the breast exam because I am breastfeeding.
the exam was a little uncomfortable. No pap as I'm not due for one until July. We talked about BC options. He also checked my b/s since I had GD. I was a little surprised that he didn't ask me if I had any PPD symptoms.
Holy eff they do an internal?!? I am shuddering at the thought of ANYTHING going up there in the near future
Seriously...the thought makes me cry.
?
You will be feeling much better by then, I thought the same thing. I haven't had my 6 wk appt yet but I feel better enough that I'm not scared of it anymore.?
same as some of the rest...I had an internal and the thought of it was probably worse than the actual exam. Then I did have a pap. We talked about BC options, any questions I had and how I was feeling. It was way easier than I thought it would be.?
