Which crib matress did you get?

.. and why?

I was planning on going up and getting one this week (we just ordered our crib and BRU is having a 15% off sale on matresses, so we figured, why not?), but when I looked at the website, there were SO MANY choices! How did you choose?

    We are getting a naturepedic organic mattress, and we just might get it now that you say they're having a sale. :) Thanks!  We knew we wanted an organic mattress to avoid off-gassing of chemicals and fire retardants, to avoid pesticides, and to be more eco-friendly.

    We got a naturepedic 252 coil mattress for the same reasons listed above.

    we got the Moonlight Slumber foam mattress, mainly because we've been reading (and our dr told us) that foam is better, and because Moonlight Slumber was rated one of the best out there. Naturpedic was the other one we were considering.

    FYI, one of the local baby boutique owners told us they just received a "memo" of sorts to remove lower end mattresses (like ones at BRU, Target, etc.) because of the chemicals that are in them. Could possibly be why they are on sale?

    We picked up the Colgate Classica I foam mattress.  In the Baby Bargains book it is the top pick not to mention reasonably priced.
