I just got my son spring shoes today, they were Stride Rite and the sales woman actually said they run small and had us get a 1/2 size bigger- he is 16 months and is tiny and got a 5.5

I don't find they run big at all.

Compared to Nikes, they do. DD wears a 6 in her Nike sandals and tennies, and the StrideRite 5.5s are muuuuuch bigger.

I agree that they run small. I usually buy a half size to a full size larger than DD's regular size.
