Do you reward yourself with new clothes? I'd really like a NICE pair of jeans. I have one pair of jeans that I spent $89 on. They are pretty much worn out. Other than that, I have never spent more than $50 on jeans. I don't really feel comfortable with my current weight, so I was thinking that if I was able to get lose the weigh tthat I want (about 20 pounds), my reward could be to buy some nice jeans, even if they are $200. I know you aren't supposed to reward yourself with food (which I'd love to do), but how about rewarding with clothes?

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Re: Weight Losers - rewarding yourself
I've done little girly stuff that isn't too expensive: a new lipgloss, a pedicure, stuff like that. That way I can do a reward with smaller amounts of weight like 5 or 10 pounds. A mini goal of 5 pounds doesn't seem as far away as 20, you know?
I've never had a really nice pair of jeans - the last pair I bought this week were $19.99 on sale.

I definitely believe in rewarding yourself. I do smaller rewards for every 5 pounds and bigger ones for percentages like 5% or 10%. For example, a couple of magazines or a new book for a 5-pound loss and then a pedicure for losing 5% of my body weight.
In the past I've also done clothes and I think if that's a good motivator for you, go for it!
I am similar in my thinking to Cwhip, in that I need small rewards for smaller goals and then I reward my self with larger things for larger goals. For instance: it is a lot more motivating to get a little lip gloss or pedicure for the 5-10 lbs and save the expensive jeans for the "goal" weight. Any loss is commendable and deserves a little something.
But whatever keeps you motivated is what you should do!
