Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Is this normal?

When Cami is up and at 'em, I'll do tummy time on my chest.. She is really great at lifting her head up and keeping it up, but she also uses both of her legs and pushes off of the boppy (around my waist).

She will push herself up so her eyes are almost up to mine.. I'm not worried about this being a bad thing.. just wondering how normal it is for a month old to do that.

  • Willis has been doing the same thing since about 5 wks.

  • Mine does this. He climbs up me, but I like to think he advanced. So I'll say she's advanced too. But really I have no idea... probably normal.

     LOL, sounds good!

  • dd does this all the time! she likes to be cheek to cheek!
  • Yup - DS does that too. I always ask him where he's going since he seems like he's on a mission to jump over my head! LOL

  • DD has always been more mobile during tummy time on our chests.  It's funny how they scoot themselves up so far.
  • Yes Reese does this also, it's like she's standing on her own :) I, of course, think she's the smartest baby and very advanced so I say yours is too! :)
  • Brenna does this already. It's so cute, and we always ask her where she is going.
