AW: We have TWO teeth!!!!!!

I stuck my finger in there at lunch today expecting nothing (as usual) and was shocked to feel not ONE, but TWO teeth poking through his gums. It literally happened overnight and he hasn't been fussing or drooly, etc. at all. I am shocked it didn't phase him.

The sad part is I got teary eyed. I didn't cry when he held his head up (this took quite awhile), rolled over, sat unassisted, but I did cry when I felt his first teeth! Maybe because I have been waiting for so long. My husband kind of gave me the side eye, but I am so proud (even though it isn't a developmental milestone).

Okay....AW moment over.

Woohoo!!!!  I'm so glad they came through!!  Waylon didn't cry or fuss when he got his in either.  I hope more come just as quickly!  I understand what you mean about crying when he got his teeth.  Just two days ago I was watching Waylon play and I started crying because he was "just too cute."  I haven't cried over any of his milestones, but with bed rest and hormones I've found myself to be more weepy.  Congrats again on the teeth!

Yeah! What a good surprise.  Ryan got his bottom 2 at the same time and suddenly just like you said.  He was fussy as they came up though (but he also had a bad cold) so I hope your LO has an easier time.  He also got his 2 top ones together so maybe you'll get yours in 2s as well!  GL

That might have been me... 11 months and no signs of teeth!

That WAS me. I told DH that next time I am waiting for something to happen I will just post about it and wait a few days.
