Annoucning the arrival of....

Maxwell Nicholas! He was born last night at 9:05pm, weighing 7lbs 14 inches and 20 inches long. I managed to do it all without pain meds, which was a lot of hard work but he is well worth the effort. The cord was around his neck when he came out, and we had a few minutes of fear when they took him to the table right away to work on him, but he is doing well now. We are working on figuring out breastfeeding and hoping to go home this evening. Thanks for all your good wishes! I haven't yet figured out how to a PIP, so I promise Max pictures later when we are home.
