Wanna see what a flannel maxi pad looks like?

Re: Wanna see what a flannel maxi pad looks like?

  • AAAAAAAGGGHHHHH

That woman did not ever use cloth diapers.  WTF is she doing selling them and making them?  And yes, the stitching will in fact make pocket diapers sucky if it won't hold together.

The way those pads are sewn look like they'd, um, itch.

  • No way!!! That is hilarious!

  • You are soooooo bad!  LOL!

    How did you find it?

  • Good lord, kitty how do you find this stuff! ?And honestly, if I were into flannel maxi's, I would think I would want them white so I could bleach the hell out of them!
  • The holiday pads are my favorite!
  • I am sorry...I can't get passed Alivia with an A.

A simple google of "camallama" will bring you tons of of returns. She's all over the internet. Her and her husband's band ;) I confess to googling her from time to time when I'm bored. This little gem I had not seen yet though, so thank you kitty :)

eh.  She's a nice girl trying to make things work for her family.

I don't use flannel pads (nor do I CD).. but there is a demand for it and if she can meet that then more power to her.

  • I'm kinda with Zenya. It's good she's trying to do something for her family.

And FWIW, I have used flannel pads in the past and they are quite comfy!

  • I can't dig on the cloth diapering b/c I do it (Kori's right though...she never did and was the one who tried to pt her 1yo cause she couldn't afford dipes)

I do have to say that there are a lot of wahm's out there who sell far better quality looking products!

  • I do cloth diaper and I do use cloth maxi pads (they really are a lot more comfy- I think the regular ones itch).

However those are some seriously low quality diapers.  I mean, she didn't put snaps on them!  And the sewing looks pretty crappy.  I actually feel bad for her.  She made all of those and no one is going to buy them Crying

  • Ah Jaysus! So she's still alive and well!

Well, fair play to her for trying something out...but ew..those pads look rotten!!!!

I wouldn't feel *too* bad...I'm pretty sure she made all that with stuff she had lying around her house.  I doubt there was a huge $$ investment.  And fwiw-I've sewed plenty of diapers out of recycled stuff, but for my own use only!!  I would be too embarrased to try and sell them!

  • I finally got enough courage to open this...and I'm wondering how the "pads" stay in place.

    Nasty, nasty, nasty.

  • is it just me, or does it look like she made them out of her kids old footie pjs?  the fleece ones look like the same material as the footie pjs that kids wear....um...no thanks.
  • First of all, whatthefuck is a "family cloth"? I've never heard of that. Second, some of the pads in the picture look as if they've been used and washed several times before she took the picture. Ew. Did she not have any newly made, never used ones? Third, and perhaps most disturbing, why on earth would any woman want a maxi pad with Winnie-the-Pooh on it?
