Does your DC sleep as well at daycare as they do at home? Is this even reasonable to expect? DC has been in daycare for about 2.5 months and we are still struggling with a napping. She takes two naps at home - normally a 2 hour nap in the morning and a 1 hour nap in the afternoon. This is like clockwork. Always always 2 naps. At daycare, she takes 2 naps about 75% of the time. It's normally about 30 minutes each.
Also, how closely does DC follow the same schedule at daycare as they do at home as far as feeding and sleeping schedules??
Re: Daycare Moms - napping/schedule question
The feeding schedule at Daycare is about the same as it is at home, sleeping not so much DS only gets two 30 minute naps a day at daycare but will sleep much longer at home.
Honestly I think his lack of sleep at daycare is due to overstimulation.
Totally agree. DS has been in day-care since Jan and has just started taking a 1 - 1 1/2 hour nap. There is too much going on for him to sleep. Sucks for us because by the time I get him at 2 he is ready for a nape and will often sleep most of the afternoon. On the weekends he still takes 2 - 3 naps depending on how long they are.
