I just paged by OB to tell him that either I peed in my pants.....or my water broke!  I have no contractions though so I don't know if I did the right thing by calling him!  Anyone awake?

does it smell like pee?  You may not get contractions right away if it was for sure your water that broke.  But GL if it was!

I've never smelled anything so closely before...lol...because i really didn't want to be embarassed.  It didn't smell like anything at all (which kind of annoyed me b/c I was hoping to say one thing or another)

I peed my pants last week but it was very much pee.  Your OB will probably tell you to come in and get checked.  At the hospital I will be delivering at - the nurses that taught our birth class told us to come in.

don't be embarrassed, you're probably the millionth patient to call with the exam same problem.   Good luck!!

You would know the difference between your water breaking and peeing your pants. Trust me there is a lot more fluid when your water breaks.
