AW: Ryan's 2mo appt!

Apparently, I grow tall babies.  Ryan has grown three inches in the past two months, which puts him in the 97th percentile for his age!!  OMG.  lol  He's gained just a little over 2lbs, which the Ped was happy with and she thinks he's now a very healthy and happy little guy.  My kids like to show off at the doctor's office too - Ryan "talked" to her and smiled during his visit.  She said "does he coo yet?" and on que, he goes "cooo!"  We both giggled.  Payton did the same thing when she was his age!

Height: 23.5"
Weight: 9lbs, 6oz

He's still not sleeping all night but he sometimes sleeps in 5hr stretches which is a dream come true.  Now if only I can make that happen when Payton sleeps all night, this mommy would be in Heaven!

Thanks everyone!  Caldwell - they still don't know what caused his issues.  They assume it was/is a milk allergy but I don't think so.  My mommy instinct thinks he ingested a blood clot on his way out of the womb and it just took a little longer to work it's way out of his system. Most babies are in the birth canal a little longer than Ryan was, and that pushes crap out of their systems.

Good news though - our Ped switched him to Gentlease and if after his next appointment and tests he's still thriving, they are going to adjust his age and no longer treat him as a premie!  Woot Woot!

I was going to say the same thing as LuvBug. Your babies are so adorable!! I love Ryan's smile. So precious. What a lucky Mom you are. Glad to hear he is right on track.

At Evie's 2 month appointment, she was half an inch shorter than she was at her first visit.  The doctor made the nurse measure her again, but the second time she measured the same length as the first visit.  Hmm.  Maybe she didn't get any taller in two months (although I doubt it), but she certainly didn't shrink!

I'm glad Ryan is doing so well and growing up so big!  Is it just me, or does he look a lot like Payton?
