Did you wear your rings when you gave birth?

When I was PG with DD I got really swollen and had to stop wearing my rings about 25 weeks into PG.  So I didn't have them on when I went to the hospital to have her.  However, they're fitting fine this time, maybe because its cold out.  I've heart though, that you shouldn't wear any expensive jewelry.  Comments?

I did.  I only take mine off to shower and apply lotion and makeup and hairgel.  I really didn't even think about it.

I took them off and gave them to DH after I was admitted.  I was afraid with all the fluid my fingers would swell.  This time I will leave them home, I was afraid he would lose them.

I took mine off on 11/1 and delivered 11/25.  A friend noticed my hands were starting to look puffy and suggested taking the rings off before I couldn't get them off.

I did. I was lucky and didn't have any swelling before or after.

At our hospital they make you remove ALL jewelry.

The hospital made me remove all my jewelry. I was wearing them up to that point though.

I did but then I ended up with a c-section so I had to remove them.  There was a safe in our hospital room though so DH put them in there.
