Why do I read Matt Logelin's blog?

I honestly don't know why I do it to myself.  He posted a video of Maddy with a bubble machine, and I am seriously bawling my eyes out.  Baw-ling.  It's just so not fair.

  • Who is Matt Logelin?

  • I don't enjoy his blog.?
  • His blog is www.mattlogelin.com.

His wife died of a pulmonary embolism the day after she gave birth to their daughter.  She had a c-section, and was on her way to see Maddy in the NICU for the first time when she collapsed and died.

  • I know. ?It makes me sad sometimes, too. ?I couldn't even imagine DH raising DS solo.

  • Yeah, I tear up a lot from that! I had a dream the other night that DD and Maddy were having a playdate!

  • I love following his blog. ?I've been following since shortly after Liz died. ?I think he is doing such an amazing job and has turned this horrible thing into something beautiful for Maddy.

  • I know... I am the same way, I am sitting here reading his blog crying... And I am not even at my own house (I am at my best friend's house this week with DD to take care of my friend who had surgery last week).

Poor Matt and poor Madeline, I can not even imagine...

  • Wow, what an incredible blog. That man is an amazing father. Bawled when I read their story.
