His wife died of a pulmonary embolism the day after she gave birth to their daughter. She had a c-section, and was on her way to see Maddy in the NICU for the first time when she collapsed and died.
I love following his blog. ?I've been following since shortly after Liz died. ?I think he is doing such an amazing job and has turned this horrible thing into something beautiful for Maddy.
i cant read it because i too cry hysterically and am now petrified for my c/s on monday to the point i may write letters to my children and DH leaving instructions on how to raise them
I know... I am the same way, I am sitting here reading his blog crying... And I am not even at my own house (I am at my best friend's house this week with DD to take care of my friend who had surgery last week).
Poor Matt and poor Madeline, I can not even imagine...
