So we told our parents a few weeks ago, and I specifically asked MIL not to tell my BIL because I wasn't sure I was going to tell my brother right away, and if not, I didn't want him to be hurt because he was the only one who didn't know in the immediate family right away. And also because we wanted to be the ones to tell BIL.
Fastforward to today, and I was talking to SIL when she told me BIL had posted he was going to be an uncle on facebook!!! So apparently MIL or FIL told him our news, and didn't tell him it was a secret for now. So much for keeping it a secret.
If we have a good ultrasound on Monday I think I will tell the rest of my family and friends so I don't have to worry any more about people telling our big news for us.
I guess it's true though, if you want to keep a secret, don't tell anyone!
Re: A bit frustrated...
I am sorry. I thought I read in an earlier post of yours that DH had already told BIL around the time you went to New Orleans? Or maybe I read it wrong and it said DH wanted to tell BIL. I get everything mixed up now a days lol.
Anyway, it will be alright. Maybe you should just tell everyone so no one tells your secret. I had a lady at work that was telling everyone about it. It's so irritating!
