That title just dragged you in here didn't it!

Anyways, does anyone else have weird toenail things going on post mc? Mine are breaking and peeling from very close to the base. When I clip them off there is another nail underneath!

It looks weird, cause some of them are trimmed vertically down the middle,  but I'm more concerned that this is some rare mc-causing toe disease! (ok, I don't really think that, but more that it could mean I'm lacking something in my body!) This started about 2 weeks before my mc.

I don't know about the toes but I noticed right after my mc my fingernails were peeling and breaking really badly.  I just assumed it was because I stopped taking my PNV for a week or so... do you think it could be the same for you?  Are you taking your PNV?

I am more concerned about your footwear. Do you wear the correct size shoe? Do they pinch as in a narrow toe box? This is my first response. I don't know about additional nail problems and mc.

I was still taking the PNVs when it started, then I stopped for about 4 weeks. Now I've been taking them again in prep for another BFP but they're still in funky shape! Part of me wonders if I'm getting too much of something and it's causing the new ones to grow underneath!

I have this issue too...alot! I stopped taking my PNVs for about a month while we were on a break. Not having that can cause your nails to be weak so as they grow out you will get a weak spot...also, stress can cause your body to misabsorb vitamins which can also weaken your nails. MC certainly can cause a lot of stress....
